I am an art history student currently living in Canada. This blog is a place for me to keep the things I like, the things I know about, and the things I'd like to know more about. It is by no means meant to be impressive. It is a teaching platform for myself, and perhaps you will learn discover something too.
All content is not owned by me unless otherwise stated. All posts I make will be credited, and reblogs will be credited where none is already present, whenever possible. I am happy to remove any content upon request with good reason, which does not include whiny teenagers claiming "their posts" were "stolen."
"The girl dreams she is dangerously ill. Suddenly birds come out of her skin and cover her completely … swarms of gnats obscure the sun, the moon, and all the stars except one. That one star falls upon the dreamer." C.G. Jung, Man and His Symbols (via milktree)
"Time is the substance I am made of. Time is a river which sweeps me along, but I am the river; it is a tiger which destroys me, but I am the tiger; it is a fire which consumes me, but I am the fire."Jorge Luis Borges, Labyrinths
"I never linger over such memories, for they have long since lost any emotional significance for me. There was no way I could restore them to life except by transforming them and making them unrecognizable, at first glance, to my eyes, solely because during that deformation they acquired the lewdest of meanings."Georges Bataille, Story of the Eye
